The idea behind Matches:
we meet many people every week. Usually we do not talk to strangers,
but we look at our phones. We send messages about WhatsApp and Co.
to people we know, no matter from where. So we communicate worldwide
and mostly with people we already know. But these are a lot of potential
and helpful connections that get lost every day.
Imagine you need help with a specific
problem or task you have. And every day
you walk past a bakery where a person
works who could easily help you with this
problem. But you will probably never meet
her because you just walk past one of the
many buildings there, how would you
know? Well, that's what GMG does. You
have a profile, write down your interests,
where you could use some help and where
you are good and could help others. When
you pass a person who could be an
interesting connection, you both receive a
notification. It is anonymous and only
works within a radius of 400m. You can
decide to contact and connect if you want.
